Jan 26, 2007 · The temp gauge sender works on earth, so the connection could be a bit dodgy. seems a crap solution but after trying to fix the old sender a while back (lasted only a few weeks) I'd say that purchasing the new sender and dropping the tank, or paying someone to do it is the only fix that's going to work.
